Custom Authenticators as supported feature

Custom Authenticators have moved from an experimental feature to a supported feature. In order to enable or disable this feature on a system level, go to Configuration -> System -> Features in the admin console.

Extension Engine properties

The Custom Authenticators require a connection to the Extension Engine. To configure this connection, go to Configuration -> System -> Extension Engine in the admin console.

The following properties are no longer supported:

  • TOKEN_SERVER_COMMON_EXPERIMENTAL_EXTENSION_ENGINE_BASIC_AUTHENTICATION_USERNAME
  • TOKEN_SERVER_COMMON_EXPERIMENTAL_EXTENSION_ENGINE_BASIC_AUTHENTICATION_PASSWORD
  • TOKEN_SERVER_COMMON_EXPERIMENTAL_EXTENSION_ENGINE_URL
